Practitioner Training
Sweden, October, 2026 Information
The training is located at
Shambala Gatherings
in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden
The training takes place at Shambala Gatherings in Skinnskatteberg, Sweden – a region known for its rich wildlife, including wolves, bears, lynx, and owls. It’s just a two-hour drive from Stockholm. The full training is taught during this six-day in-person immersion. There are no prerequisites or prior experience required. We also don’t request any refresher courses, so once you complete the training along with your case studies, you will be fully qualified and certified to practice. Case studies can be completed in 3 weeks but you do have 12 months to complete them.
Our practitioner training is fully certified and recognised worldwide with IICT (International Institute Of Complementary Therapists). This will enable you to receive global insurance coverage.
The training is priced at €3266 and includes full accommodations, along with three wholesome, catered meals per day for 5 nights and 5 full days with unlimited tea throughout each day.
Joanna Barnes is the Institute of Feminine Arts Associate Teacher for the UK and Europe and will be
facilitating this course. She has been apprenticing in Womb Awakening with the Institute for the
past five years and began facilitating Womb Hara Massage in 2024.

Land
–
The dense forests of Bergslagen around Skinnskatteberg, are a fantastic place to encounter the very best of Sweden’s wildlife. Other than enjoying its abundant flaura and lush beds of moss, the magnificent ”king of the Swedish forest”, moose – otherwise known as elk – can be seen here in its natural habitat, and the many lakes and watercourses are home to the beaver. The area has also proven to be one of the best regions in Sweden to see other wildlife such as wolves, bears, lynx and owls. Being located just two hours away from Stockholm, the area is easily accessible and makes a great option for a short break wildlife destination.
The facilities are homely and lovingly cared for. There’s two yoga shalas, a dining room, a yurt, a cosy library, a wood-fired sauna and a small lakeside deck, all nestled in the heart of the Swedish forest.
