The training is located at
Xenia Retreat Centre
in Bowen Island, BC
The training takes place at Xenia Retreat Centre in Bowen Island, located a 90 minute drive from Vancouver Airport. Everything is taught to you in the 5-day in-person training, there are no prerequisites or any prior learning needed. We also don’t request any refresher courses, so once you complete the training along with your case studies, you will be fully qualified and certified to practice. Case studies can be completed in 3 weeks but you do have 12 months to complete them.
Our practitioner training is fully certified and recognised worldwide with IICT (International Institute Of Complementary Therapists). This will enable you to receive global insurance coverage.
The training is priced at CAD $5555 and includes full accommodations, along with three wholesome, catered meals per day for 5 nights and 5 full days with unlimited snacks and tea throughout each day.
Class Times
ARRIVAL – you can arrive after 3pm on October 2nd and we will begin class the following day on the 3rd. Class times are 9-5pm each day.
DEPARTURE – we will finish at 5pm on the final day, October 7th .
Transport
Xenia is a 90 drive from Vancouver airport. It is a 1-hr drive to Horseshoe Bay and then
a 20 minute ferry ride to Bowen Island. We’ll also connect via a FB group where we can
arrange carpooling from Vancouver for those who are flying from interstate.
Accomodation
Accommodations are shared rooms with ensuite. There are 4 x private/single rooms available for an extra $45 per night. Please let me know if you’d like to reserve one

Land

The retreat centre rests in the heart of magical gardens, whispering meadows, ancient forests, and
shimmering lakes, with scenic nature trails weaving through the land. Xenia is home to 1000 year Douglas Fir trees, There’s also an infared sauna and labyrinth on the property.
What To Bring
Massage linen/or sarongs to use when practicing (more will be shared nearer to the training)
A thin muslin cloth to cover the buttocks for coccyx massage.
Pen and notepad
Comfortable loose clothing
Something special and personal to place on the altar
Please advise us if you’re able to bring a massage table.
