Institute of Feminine Arts
Integrative Womb Hara
Practitioner Training
Netherlands Information
The training is located in Groningen in
Kura Waka Retreat Centre.
June 2nd to the 7th, 2026
Everything is taught to you in the 6-day in-person training, there are no prerequisites or any prior learning needed. We also don’t request any refresher courses, so once you complete the training along with your case studies, you will
be fully qualified and certified to practice. Case studies can be completed in 3 weeks but you do have
12 months to complete them.
The course is €3266 and the practitioner training is fully certified and recognised
worldwide with IICT (International Institute Of Complementary Therapists).
This will enable you to receive global insurance coverage. This retreat is fully residential, including 3 x daily meals and accomodation for the 6 nights and 6 days.
Joanna Barnes is the Institute of Feminine Arts Associate Teacher for the UK and Europe and will be facilitating this course. She has been apprenticing in Womb Awakening with the Institute for the past five years and began
facilitating Womb Hara Massage in 2024.

You’ll land at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
– From there you take an intercity train to Groningen city which takes about 2.15 hours
– At Groningen station you will take the second train to either Eemshaven or Roodeschool (it’s the same train).
-You get off at Roodeschool. This train takes 45 minutes
– From Roodeschool train station you take a right turn and walk just straight ahead.
After about a 15 min walk you’ll reach the venue on your right side, it’s a partly orange painted building.
We can arrange to pick you up from Roodeschool station
– The train ride is really straight forward, however we can also organise a pick up from
Groningen station if there are more women arriving around the same time – this will be coordinated with the group before arrival.
Trains from Amsterdam are around 30euro one way
There’s also regular flixbuses from many European countries. They’ll drop you either
at Amsterdam or Utrecht. From Utrecht city it’s again the train to Groningen and then to Roodeschool. Travel time from there is also around 3 hours.
You can also travel by car. We would be more than happy to connect sisters so they
can share rides for convenience.
